Running media for the Silver Clef Awards

I co-led PR planning and delivery for Nordoff Robbins’ Silver Clef Awards - one of the music industry’s most high-profile charity events which brought together major artists such as Stormzy, alongside industry figures and national media.

The scale of the event needed a large and complex press operation, which balanced the needs of the charity, media and multiple artist teams. I planned and delivered artist involvement in press materials, journalist and photographer access, on-site media activity across the press room and the flow of talent through the red carpet.

A key part of this role was managing competing demands from artist teams, journalists and the charity as the event unfolded, making decisions on access, timing and prioritisation so that coverage included the charity’s central messaging rather than drifting into purely being celebrity-led. This required careful judgement in how media activity was structured across the day, making sure coverage delivered for media audiences, with a clear link back to Nordoff Robbins’ work.

The result was 275 pieces of coverage across national and entertainment media, including The Sun, Daily Mail and i paper, positioning the Silver Clef Awards as a significant moment in the music industry calendar, while reinforcing the charity’s profile.
