My Story
I'm an award-winning PR and communications consultant helping charities and leaders communicate with honesty and impact.

I've spent most of my career working out what makes people listen and what makes them switch off.
I started out in journalism, drawn to stories that could change how people think or act. Over time that focus shifted from telling stories myself to helping others tell theirs: leaders, campaigners and organisations doing important work but struggling to get noticed by the right people.

My work centres on earning trust and building influence through strategy, storytelling thought leadership, and reputation management.
Together, we find the language and ideas that feel authentic, connect emotionally, and strengthen your reputation.

After two decades in media and comms, I've seen how easily good work gets lost - buried under deadlines, jargon and the pressure to sound like everyone else. Real communication isn't about polish, but clarity, authenticity and courage.

I've advised some of the UK's best-known charities, including Women's Aid, Shelter, Global Witness and The Climate Coalition, and worked with public figures using their platforms for good. Before consultancy, I worked in journalism on major stories and events such as the London 2012 Olympics.

Memorable communication happens when people speak with purpose, honesty and humanity. Lasting influence comes from substance over show.
